PARIS
This year we would
like to visit Paris for the end-school trip.
There we could see a
lot of beautiful monuments, famous museums and very important palaces
like:
- “Tour Eiffel ”, the tallest building in Paris, built by engineer Gustave Eiffel;
- “ Musée du Louvre”, the most visited museum in the world;
- “Place de la Concorde”, one of the major public square in Paris;
- “Notre Dame de Paris ”, a Gothic Catholic cathedral, built on the eastern half of the “Île de la Cité”;
- “Arc de Triomphe”, one of the most famous monument in Paris; it stands in the centre of the “Place de l’Étoile”;
- “Montmartre”, a hill in the north of Paris; it is known as the artist’s area and for the “Basilique du Sacré-Coeur”;
- “Panthéon”, a secular mausoleum containing the remains of the most important French citizens
In the free time we
could go shopping along the “Champs-Élysées”, have relax in the
green areas of the city, walk along “Senna” river and have dinner
in the typical French restaurants called “Bistrot”.
