TRIP TO TURIN
I and my class went to Turin
on 19 and 20 march 2013.
We left Modena
at 6 o’clock in the morning from the school.
We went there by bus and it took about 4 hours.
The journey was very long but we had fun because we played with cards,
sang a lot of songs and spoke a lot too…
When we arrived, we visited the Reggia of Venaria Reale. It was amazing!
Then we had lunch in the garden
of Reggia of Venaria. After that we saw the Mole Antonelliana and
the National Museum of Cinema inside it.
We climbed on the panoramic lift. From there we saw a fantastic view of
the city .
We went to the hostel where we had dinner. The food wasn’t very good!!! Then
the teachers took us the bedrooms and we went in them… but we didn’t sleep. We stayed
awake all in a bedroom and we spoke a lot until 11 o’clock. In the night we
didn’t sleep a lot because we were very exciting.
We got up at 7 o’clock and we had breakfast with bread, chocolate, jam,
coffee, milk and orange juice. Then we moved to Palazzo Carignano that houses
the International Museum of Risorgimento now. Inside it we saw documents,
relics, paintings, books and flags about the Italian history until the Second World
War. It was interesting but it was a
little boring because the guide spoke in a low voice! The tour lasted two hours
and then we returned in the hostel where we had lunch. We ate pasta with
tomatoes and chicken with chips. Then the teachers gave us an hour of free time for
doing shopping in the centre of Turin
but…. to get to in it we forgot two teachers: Mrs Diena and Mrs Salvioli in the
hostel because they were having a coffee. They called the teacher Mrs Bergamini
but she didn’t hear her phone!!!! It was good fun.
We stayed in the city centre for an hour , then we took the bus to
return in Modena
and we arrived in it at 8 o’clock. The weather during the days was fantastic! Everything
was very beautiful! The trip was wonderful and everyone had a lot of fun.
